Service

Platform Engineering & DevOps

We build the delivery pipelines, Kubernetes platforms, and monitoring that let product teams in the Greater Vancouver Area and remotely across Canada, the US, and Europe release daily without breaking production.

01

CI/CD & automation

GitLab CI pipelines that build, test, scan, and deploy on every merge, with Argo CD keeping each cluster in sync with Git. A vulnerability surfaces in review, not in production.

02

Kubernetes & container platforms

Production Kubernetes on AWS or Hetzner Cloud, provisioned with Terraform and Ansible, with network isolation through Cilium and Istio.

03

Observability & reliability

Prometheus metrics, Grafana dashboards, and alerts tied to service-level objectives, so a failing system reports itself before a customer does.

Led by a CNCF Kubestronaut and AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Professional.

Who this is for

How an engagement runs

  1. 01

    Review the current setup

We read your repositories, pipelines, and cloud accounts, and talk to the engineers who deploy. You get a written assessment of what slows releases and what is likely to fail first.

  2. 02

    Agree on a plan

A short, prioritized plan: what to automate, what to move, and what to leave alone. Each item names the problem it removes, so you can stop at any point and keep the gains.

  3. 03

    Build it in your repositories

Pipelines, Terraform, and Kubernetes manifests arrive as merge requests in your Git, reviewed by your team like application code. Nothing runs from our laptops.

  4. 04

    Hand over

Runbooks, dashboards, and alerts your on-call engineers can act on, plus a walkthrough with the people who will own the platform. It keeps working without us.

Questions

Do we need Kubernetes?
Not always. A few services with steady traffic often run more simply and cheaply on managed containers or plain virtual machines. We recommend Kubernetes when the number of services, teams, or environments makes manual operation the bottleneck, and we say so when it does not.
Will we depend on you afterwards?
No. Every environment is defined in Terraform and Git and reviewed like application code, so your engineers can read, change, and run it once we step back.
AWS or Hetzner Cloud?
Whichever fits the workload: AWS where managed services save engineering time, Hetzner Cloud where compute cost dominates. Instances are sized against your measured load, not a preference.
How does security fit into the pipeline?
Static analysis, dependency scanning, and container image scanning run on every merge, and network isolation through Cilium and Istio is part of the cluster design. Our engineers hold the Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist and CompTIA security certifications.
